Vintage Dinky Supertoys 532 Leyland Comet Lorry Meccano England 1950s

Vintage original Dinky Supertoys No. 532 Leyland Comet Lorry with Hinged Tailboard, manufactured in England by Meccano Ltd.

This classic early-1950s Dinky commercial vehicle features the desirable green cab/chassis with orange-red cargo body and cream-colored wheel hubs.

The underside is embossed:

DINKY SUPERTOYS
LEYLAND COMET
MADE IN ENGLAND BY MECCANO LTD

Model number 532 is also clearly visible.

The No. 532 Leyland Comet was produced during the early 1950s, with collector references dating it approximately 1952–1954. The green cab with red/orange body was one of the documented original color combinations.

Condition:
Pre-owned vintage condition with substantial age-related wear. There are numerous paint chips, scratches, scuffs and areas of paint loss throughout. The underside metal components show oxidation/surface rust. Tires and wheels show age and use. Spare wheel is present underneath.

No original box included.
